I got a body measurement scale a few weeks ago. You type in your age, gender and height in centimetres, then you step on the metal bits on the sides. It gets your weight in kilograms, then calculates your muscle percentage, body fat percentage, bone density and how many calories you need per day. As a 22-year-old female, I weigh 55.4 kg, which equates to 122 pounds on my 5 foot 2 inch frame. I have 23.5% body fat (which is in the "fit" range), 36.0% muscle, and need to eat 2117 calories per day. I do need to lose maybe 10 pounds in my belly area, which I'm working on :) I'm not much of an athlete, but I do enjoy shooting hoops at halftime of my school's basketball games.
